Dear Residents, The empty lot on the corner of Princeton and Nelson was gifted to the City of Bennington by Don and Debbie Wagner. Don mentioned that he envisioned a nice pretty place where people could sit and have lunch or just enjoy the area. There have been several suggestions, and the city council would like everyone to look through the ideas and if you have any other new ideas to please list them too! Keep in mind that this is a residential area, we do not want anything that would disturb any neighbors in the area. Some suggestions were a pickle ball court, flower gardens with benches and a running water feature, a grain bin gazebo of some sort with tables in the middle with flower gardens around it, a picnic area/reading area.
